The ALLG Scientific November Meeting brought together blood cancer experts from across Australia and New Zealand in an inspiring mix of collaboration, innovation and shared purpose. This event reaffirmed ALLG Members commitment to advancing clinical trials and research that enhance treatments and quality of life for people affected by blood cancers. The Scientific Meeting is a vital forum for exchanging ideas, reviewing research data, and strengthening networks of clinicians and researchers who drive ALLG’s mission.

Showcasing Clinical Trials and Research Projects

One of the meeting’s highlights was the plenary sessions, where member researchers presented new concepts and updates on ongoing clinical trials, reflecting the depth of ALLG’s research. Members discussed current ALLG studies and explored emerging therapies, all to accelerate treatments for patients. The plenary sessions provided a rich environment for collaboration that strengthens the impact of ALLG’s clinical research efforts.

Celebrating Life Membership – Chairman of the Board, Peter Kempen AM

During the Scientific Meeting, we inducted our newest ALLG Life Member – Chairman of the Board, Peter Kempen AM. Life Membership is award in recognition of sustained and significant contributions to the ALLG’s blood cancer research and our organisation. We celebrated Peter’s 15 years of leadership, mentorship and dedication to ALLG’s mission.

Shining Star Award

ALLG’s Shining Star Award recognises and rewards excellence and achievements an employee(s) has made to the ALLG. This award is either for an individual or for a team that has a significant impact to the business.

The winner of our 2025 ALLG Shining Star Award was announced as- ALLG Study Start Up Manager, Shivani Arora. Shivani received this recognition for her significant achievements with the study start up activities and her personable way of working with clinical trial sites. Her warm communication style, dedication and ability to build strong relationships have made a lasting impact that sets her apart. Congratulations to Shivani on this well-deserved recognition.
