The Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group (ALLG) will be strongly represented at Blood 2025 Conference, taking place in Perth from 26-29 October 2025. Delivered by the Haematological Society of Australia and New Zealand (HSANZ), this year’s meeting gathers haematology leaders from across Australia and around the world.

Research abstracts accepted to Blood 2025 represent the most impactful and novel research in the field of haematology across Australia and the Pacific region. ALLG Members’ presence at Blood underscores our commitment to driving change and highlights our role as the leading cooperative blood cancer clinical trial group in Australasia. Key ALLG trials have been chosen to be presented to delegates by our members in both oral and poster formats. Through our clinical trial research, ALLG remains at the forefront of research that delivers progress and high-quality evidence for new innovative treatments to improve the lives of people with blood cancers.

BM12 CAST Trial – Oral Presentation

BM12 CAST Trial – is a clinical trial focused on patients with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) or acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) who received stem cell transplants from matched sibling donors. The trial assessed a simpler, less toxic treatment combination that significantly lowered rates of transplant side-effects, including the debilitating complication Graft Versus Host Disease (GVHD).

NHL37 GOLDiLOX Trial – Oral Presentation

NHL37 GOLDiLOX Trial – is a first experience of safety and activity of two new treatment regimens of immunotherapies pirtobrutinib and glofitamab for Mantle Cell Lymphoma, in patients previously treated with covalent BTK inhibitors.

Patient Reported Outcome design, conduct and reporting in ALLG trials – Poster Presentation

Arina’s research project will define the optimal patient-reported outcomes measures to embed as best practice in ALLG clinical trial development pathways, aiming to accelerate understanding of the best quality of life tools in the context of novel blood cancer treatments like immunotherapies and CAR-T therapy.
